The more tools you have for accessing true wisdom, the better. Developing those strategies takes place over time, and knowing where support is available can make a huge difference in your parenting experience.
Don’t hesitate to ask for help, and take the time to discover your own true parenting path. It’s worth it!

Trusting yourself as you parent is a process, something to build up over time, so don’t be critical of yourself for not doing it right the first time out!

Finding a mentor n a mom’s group is so valuable. My sons are older (10 & 12), and each has ADHD. Were it not for moms who’ve been there and are there, I’d lose my mind.

That and my blog. And Mom Loop where I find great support like you!

I completely agree that you need to trust yourself as a parent, and I wish I had trusted myself more as a first time parent.

Stopping from Mom Loop! This so true. We found there is no manual for JDaniel. There a guidelines, but they are just that. We have to trust that we know what he needs. Have a wonderful 4th!
